Recently, it was brought to my attention that that saying is a total lie!! It really struck me hard, because it's so easy to let whatever I think just slip out and not even think twice about how it might affect the person I'm speaking to.  Words can affect a person's soul for eternity!!!  Imagine!! One little comment can affect where a soul will spend eternity!!   I catch my self (or rather, God catches me) entirely way too often, becoming impatient or irritated with someone, just flying off the handle and hurling terrible, mean and hurtful things at people. Most of the time, we think before we talk, but we do not think enough, and take the time to bring every thought captive to Christ's mind, before we let the words spill out.
"Bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" 2 Cor. 10:5
"Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips." Psalm 141:3

Praying

         Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.    James 5:16~God Answers Prayer~I know not by what methods rare,But this I know, God answers prayer.I know that He has given His word,Which tells me prayer is always heard.And will be answered, soon or late;And so I pray, and calmly wait.
I know not if the blessing soughtWill come in just the way I thought,But leave my prayers with Him alone,Whose will is wiser than my own.Assured that he will grant my quest,Or send some answer far more blessed.

 The word prayer is mentioned 109 times in The Bible.... it's so important! We must continually lift each other up in prayer... sometimes that's the only way we're able to help a person.  Only recently, I began to truly meet and commune with God through prayer... to truly feel his presence through it.  It's so amazing!    





Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation:the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.  Matthew 26:41

 .... My friends. =)  Milton was our chorus director... And Marvin was kind of the director of the whole Bible School...   They are really cool!  Truly God is in them and working through them so greatly!   They are both such a big blessing!

This week of  Bible School was absolutely amazing!  God met with us, and I have never experienced anything  like it in my life!  On Wednesday  night , Don Davis preached a very firy and convicting sermon and right afterward,  quite a few of the students went upstairs to pray... specifically for three boys who were not saved... while we were praying two of them got saved!! Isn't that incredible?  God is so awesome!  Well we just kept praying, and eventually  about twenty of us decided to stay at the church all night and pray.  That was another  miracle,  a friend had been asking God for one other person to stay up all night and pray with her, and he sent her like twenty! =)  Anyways, we were praying that our friend, who was at home and not saved, would not be able to sleep until he had made peace with Jesus.  While we were praying, he woke up and couldn't sleep until he had!! He stayed up praying most of the night!  There were at least seven convertions that week!!  And not to mention at least five or six people who rededicated their lives to the Savior.  I know that every heart was touched and changed by God... he worked so much in every single heart! Everyone's walk with him grew tremendously deeper and we each grew so much closer to HIM!  He has changed my life in many areas for his glory.  And I know that the same happened with every person who was there.   Well, you could and still can see the changes taking place!  He is not done working!!! Since Bible School, at least three people who we had been really praying hard for, have gotten saved! And he is still working! God please, don't EVER let us lose the fire and passion you have instilled in us!! Help us to be faithful in PRAYER! And to be willing to let you use us however you want to!  Thank you so much for letting me go to this school Father!!! You have given me so much through these people, and through this experience.  Please help me to continue to put into use in my life the things you are teaching me.  I LOVE YOU LORD. ♥

Real Friends

I am learning to trust Him... with all my heart..... realizing that he truly knows exactly what is best for me and will direct my path in the best way!  Sometimes I can't understand exactly why or what His plan is behind the circumstances....or I don't understand his timing... but that's only because his plans are so much higher and wiser than mine, that my mind can't comprehend it!  Oh, I have to believe by faith, and not by sight, and that's very hard sometimes, but I have truly surrendered the future to him.... I am willing to let him lead me, and trust that he's holding my tomorrow in HIS hands!!  I need to just step out of his way, and Trust My Hand Into His. =)  What a beautiful feeling that he is holding each of us in his mighty hands and will never let us down!!
