"Trusting the Shepherd"

" Now we must take from them a lesson clear,
And follow Christ with out a trace of fear.
He is our constant refuge and our stay,
He is the master; we are just his clay."

                             
                                    Trust


                              Believe by faith

                              And not by sight.

                              Trust in the Lord;

                              He knows what's right.

                              Though we might not

                              Quite understand,

                              He truly has 

                              An all-wise plan.

                              Let go of self-

                              Be hid in Christ!

                              No worries now-

                              Your trust in Christ.

                              "Not my will, Lord

                              But Thine be done!"

                              For Lord, I am

                              Now with thee one!

                              I'll let you work

                              Just as you please,

                              And use me Lord,

                              To honor thee.

                              Because that's what

                              Life's all about-

                              To live for Christ

                              Without a doubt.

                              To bring the glory 

                              All to Jesus;

                              Keep the focus

                              Away from us!

                              But this we can

                              Not do unless

                             In him we trust....

                              And he will bless!

I am learning to trust Him... with all my heart..... realizing that he truly knows exactly what is best for me and will direct my path in the best way!  Sometimes I can't understand exactly why or what His plan is behind the circumstances....or I don't understand his timing... but that's only because his plans are so much higher and wiser than mine, that my mind can't comprehend it!  Oh, I have to believe by faith, and not by sight, and that's very hard sometimes, but I have truly surrendered the future to him.... I am willing to let him lead me, and trust that he's holding my tomorrow in HIS hands!!  I need to just step out of his way, and Trust My Hand Into His. =)  What a beautiful feeling that he is holding each of us in his mighty hands and will never let us down!!
